Beautiful house in a beautiful area. Owners were lovely, very informative, house was perfectly clean and very well kept. Exactly what we needed. The hot tub was amazing. The kids had plenty of space to run around, there was a lovely park next door. I am definitely going to come again with my family and would definitely reccomend.

Fabulous!! Milstone Cottages is the perfect base to tour the beauty that is Donegal. We have stayed in cottage No. 3 twice now for our New Years Break and have already booked again for our next trip. On top of the beautiful setting the cottage is furnished to a really high standard with everything you could need for your self catering break. We especially loved the hot tub and sauna and used it every evening. Dolores is a great host who is a fount of knowledge on the area and is always on hand if you need anything. The town of Milford is only 5 mins drive away so you have the convenience of everything you need close by but with the tranquility of the countryside.

We booked all 3 cottages for a family stay after my daughters wedding we have stayed many times before and again the cottages were beautifully presented and spotlessly clean Dolores was lovely as usual, we had family and friends from Canada staying and they loved everything about the cottages and Donegal my daughters new husband from Belgium absolutely loved Donegal and the cottages the kids loved the hot tub and the new lights installed were lots of fun again another perfect 5 star stay we will be back again as these cottages and Dolores never fail to impress

Our stay at Millstone Cottage 3 was absolutely fabulous! Dolores and Danny made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived (with a roaring fire waiting for us!) until we left, and they had thought of everything to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The spa and sauna were absolute bliss, and the kids (and grown-ups!) loved the playpark at the front of the cottages. We spent a day at Portsalon beach (yes, it was November, but that’s what big coats are for!) and the whole area is just beautiful. We’re hoping to head back soon! We rented the 3 Millstone cottages for 1 week and loved our time spent there. Houses were well equipped, clean and spacious. The hot tubs and outdoor playground made our stay perfect

We had two of the cottages rented for my 40th birthday and oh my word, we had an amazing weekend! The kids cried when we left! We had everything we needed and the hot tub was absolutely amazing! Such a fab time. Dolores was lovely. Nice and chilled, good clean fun and a weekend I will never forget! Thank you! x

Had a great stay over May day Weekend. Danny and Dolores are lovely friendly hosts and do anything to help. The hot tub was a big hit esp with our 2 older children. Nice countryside location, but not too far from letterkeny or Milford. The cottage had everything you need for self catering stay and there's a Lidl supermarket not too far away which is handy for bits and bobs. Would definitely recommend and would hope to go back again .

We had a fantastic weekend at millstone cottages over the st patricks weekend. Cottage no 1 had a fabulous hot tub which the young children enjoyed. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The fire was lit for us arriving and it was extremely welcoming. Although the weather was poor on our stay the addition of park for the children was great. We did go to it with raincoats on. Over all a wonderful stay and we will be back.

Excellent accommodation in a splendid location. Danny and Dolores are absolutely brilliant, they are so friendly and helpful. We arrived on a Friday evening to a lovely roaring fire which was nice to see and it made the cottage cosy, warm and welcoming.

Perfect location to explore donegal, well equipped and spacious cottage with a brilliant hot tub, peaceful yet a few minutes drive to the village, super friendly and very knowledgeable hosts. Would highly recommend this property and there is loads to see and do in this part of Ireland.

Very happy with our short 3 night stay! The house was in a perfect condition, clean and spacious. Perfect location for driving around and exploring Donegal. Absolutely fantastic 3 nights at number 3. We used as a base to explore the Donegal coastline and we were not disappointed as we were very central to everywhere we wanted to go. The cottage was a dream, very clean with all amenities working and very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were also a fantastic addition to relax at the end of the day. 5 stars

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The house was beautiful and well maintained. It had everything we needed for the few days. The hot tube and sauna were great too. Totally recommend coming to these cottages. Its not far by car to the shop and take away if you need anything which was handy as the open fire was brilliant on a winters night. We just went to the shop to buy some coal. Theres also a park which looks fab. We arrived when it had been snowing so couldn't use it but we did make a snowman in the garden as theres lots of space around the cottage we were in. Dolores was so friendly and such a lovely person to deal with. Couldnt fault anything about our stay and would def use them again.

Danny & Dolores were great hosts. It was an icy cold day when we arrived and they had the fires lit in each cottage along with a few logs and some coal to keep us going. They organised a mini bus to taxi us to and from our activities in Letterkenny, and offered to book the activities if necessary. They showed us how to use the sauna and jacuzzis which went down a treat, and they left there number in case we needed anything, day or night! A fantastic hen do in some gorgeous cottages, would highly recommend.

Best self catering we have ever stayed in. Beautiful house and surrounding areas and had everything we could possible need. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in this part of Donegal just loved our stay and Dolores is a wee star. Thankyou we will be back x

The kids loved the on-site play area and everything was very clean and very comfortable. 30 mins to Letterkenny and less than 20mins to the beautiful Ballymastocker beach. A wonderful memorable holiday in peaceful surroundings.

The cottage was fantastic. It was not only spotless but very comfortable. Delores was very welcoming, she even set and lit our fire for us. The hot tub and sauna were great for relaxing in after a long days sightseeing. You are not far from the border so you can visit both parts of Ireland easily I can highly recommend it.

Luxury accommodation, loved the hottub, kids loved the playground! Loads to do in the area. We hope to return soon!!

Thank you Dolores for the warm welcome, it was like we knew each other since years. We were only staying for three nights and had a wonderful break in cottage 3, with hot Tube and Sauna. It was quiet, peaceful and totally relaxing. Everything what we needed was there and we enjoyed every minute.we just can highly recommend this place, thanks a lot. Karin and Michael

The cottage was very clean and well presented and an excellent base for touring around. My only regret is we didn't book a full week. The hot tub was fantastic and I can wholeheartedly recommend Millstone Cottages for a relaxing break.

We travelled to Millstone cottages for a hen weekend, cannot fault anything about our experince, Dolores the owner was fantastic and organised taxis to pick us up and bring us from cottage to letterkenny and back again for night out, Hot tuba and sauna room was unbeatable, each day the water level and chlorine is checked to ensure it is at a safe standard. All we had to do was pick up the phone if we had any quetions and queries and it was sorted, will definitely return

We had a wonderful stay. The cottages are very clean and modern with a beautiful open fire and a great BBQ area. The Hot tub was excellent the children loved it and enjoyed the park area, we could not fault anything, We would recommend cottages to others. Danny and Dolores are a welcoming and friendly couple and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Lovely relaxing time, children really enjoyed it especially drum and the donkeys and the amazing private play park!! Trip was made even more special when they where allowed to ride drum really made the holiday for them. Owners very friendly and welcoming overall lovely time had by all.

We spent two nights in House 3 with our 4 kids just after new year. Danny and Dolores were very helpful and friendly without being too intrusive. The place was absolutely spotless and had every amenity imaginable. During our stay the weather was so bad (70 mph wind) that the kids couldn't really use the play park but the hot tub more than made up for it! Bring slippers or flip flops for crossing between the house and hot tub as the stones are hard on your feet. All in all a great retreat - we are already planning to return!

Millstone Cottages have always been excellent quality. we have stayed there 4 times now and the standard of the house has been first class every time. Delores is very friendly and accommodating and a pleasure to meet. The hot-tub is out of this world and a very welcome addition to the place. I simply cannot rate this place highly enough to do it justice.
